Kids are expensive!

Well like every other month October was a busy month. We went to California for my grandpa's 70Th birthday for a couple of days. We got to go to Knotts berry Farm which was pretty fun. It was all decked out in Halloween stuff!! We also got to spend some time with my moms family that we haven't seen for about 5 yrs. We got home and I was unpacking and separated the clothes in three piles. I went to do something in the other room came back and grabbed a pile of cloths and tossed it in the washer. When I changed the wash I heard a big thud in the dryer. I dug in there and found the camera!!! Are you kidding me???? I left the room for seriously 2 seconds and in that 2 seconds Lucy got the camera off the table and mixed it in the clothes. I separated all of the clothes piece by piece so I know it wasn't there before I left the room.. AHHHH. And to make it worse the camera was only a few months old. Man kids do some crazy things. Luckily the memory card didn't get ruined but no Halloween pics. Dave's brother and his wife got to come down and visit for about 3 weeks. We did a lot of fun things together, we went and played at the mall and had a fun Halloween party. We all dressed up! Dave's 3 brothers and wife's came and my brother and his wife came. We have a great family!!! Lucy was a black sheep, she was so cute and she loved trick or treating!! Dave and I had fun taking her too! Some of the family took pictures so hopefully I can get some copies and post them! Hope you had a great Halloween!

Catch up!!! (very long)

August was a really busy month for us and I didn't have a lot of time to update my blog so I am going to catch up now sorry its going to be a long one! On the 11Th we celebrated 3 years, HOLY COW it doesn't seem like it has been that long. We have gone through and learned a lot about each other and guess what we still like each other! On our actual anniversary we didn't really get to celebrate because I had to work. Dave still made it a great day though I came home to beautiful flowers and my favorite dinner all ready for us to eat! How did I get so lucky?? That weekend we decided that we needed to take a little vacation and leave little Lucy with my sister for a night. We went and stayed at a really fun place called the Buttes in Tempe. We ended up staying two nights because we were having so much fun. We went and got Lucy and went back! These have been the greatest 3 yrs and I am so grateful for Dave he is so good to me! Another big event was Lucy got her 1st hair cut! It was starting to look like a mullet lol! Here she is with daddy right before!

Lucy turned 1 on the 23rd! We had a little party for her on the 22nd with family and friends and had so much fun. She got spoiled, Thank you everyone for coming and sharing this special day with us!

How many things can you fit into 2 weeks?

The craziness started on the 20th when I got to go to girls camp with my ward. It was a lot of fun, we have some really fun girls in our ward. It was funny because everyone thought I was one of the girls. The other leaders would hand me the handouts and one of the girls that was doing the certifications even said to me" where is your knife don't you want to participate?" I thought it was pretty funny. By the time the fourth day came I was so ready to go home and see Dave and my baby. Dave and I have only spent maybe 3 nights apart since we have been married and I have never been away from Lucy for more than 8 hours. As soon as I got home I packed and we headed off to go camping with family to fossil creek! It was a lot of fun, we had to hike down to the water but it was a very pretty hike. The boys were having such a good time jumping off the cliff and waterfall.


Since I was gone the week before I had to work a lot Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and then Thursday we headed off to Eagar! We got to do alot of fun things while we were up there. We went canoeing and repelling and played ultimate Frisbee in the dark! We always have so much fun when we are there! Thank you so much Crosby family for letting us come and stay with you we had a great time and we love you very much!!! We had fun but it is so good to be home and sleep in my own bed again and be away from the bugs!!! I will upload pics in the next post:)

Just Wondering!!!

So I'm not really good at keeping up with my blog....Ok lets be honest I'm horrible at it. I was thinking about it and wondering how many people actually read my blog. I know its suppose to be like an online journal but I do it more for my family and friends to be able to watch Lucy grow up. So I guess what I'm wondering is who is reading this??? I think if I knew how many people were reading it or not reading it I would either post more or stop posting! And also I was wondering about going private. Let me know how you feel about it! Thanks

More Lucy, What a shock!

The other day Lucy was crawling around playing and I decided to get the camera out and take a couple pictures. I'm glad I did cause I got some really funny ones! Here she is walking! This is how she walks with her walker now, she rides it like a scooter lol!This is her elephant "Elee", she was playing with her on the floor and.......
She got tired! This was seriously two minuets after I took the pic above lol!!!

Crazy Life!!!

Life is pretty crazy around here with church, work, and trying to keep up with a little one. We haven't had anything too exciting happen lately but we are putting in our back yard so I will post pictures when its finished!!! Im really bad at taking pictures and I need to do it because Lucy is getting really funny, she climbs on everything and she actually took 3 steps the other day!! She is only 9 months its crazy. I will try to get a video of it to post. It seems like when she learns something new she will do it for us, but when we want to show off her tricks to others so wont do it. Silly girl!
